GCC's 3rd General Body Meeting

Time sure does fly when you're studying for midterms, so take a break from the books and join us in our 3rd GBM of the quarter!

Stick around afterwards to hang out with the officers and enjoy an intense game of House Mafia with us! For those of you who haven't heard of this game before, all I can say is... keep your hands on your necks!

  • Learn how Global China Connection at UCSD works
  • Build exclusive contacts through our GCC network
  • Attend GCC officer meetings
  • Connect with GCC officers
  • Become a part of the event planning process
  • Express ideas and opinions about past and future activities and events 

Join a Committee 
Become a part of the planning process for “A Piece of Asia”. Gain communication and leadership skills by joining the team!
Festival Committee:
  • Communicate with various cultural student organizations (NSU, TASA, CASA, etc) participating in the festival
  • Coordinate performers during festival
  • Build relationships with sponsors
  • Create a fundraiser and game booth for GCC
  • Help spread the word about Global China Connection at UCSD
Help coordinate GCC’s first annual conference—Opportunities: Here and Abroad. Build your networking connections and interact with professionals.
Conference Committee
  • Contact professionals from various fields to participate in our conference
  • build relations with sponsors
  • coordinate guest speakers and panel speakers during the conference
  • reach out to prestigious faculty, graduates and local professionals to participate in our networking session

1st GBM Slides

If you want to meet us in person, we will be tabling at Fall Fest on the Green (FFOG)! Library Walk, Wednesday 10/5, from 11am-3pm. Come to learn more about or organization, play our balloon-dart game, and win a balloon!

We will also be having a Korean Taco Fundraiser on Tuesday, 10/11, from 11am-2pm. Come by to grab some delicious, hand crafted tacos and support your favorite organization! Keep an eye out on our facebook and blogspot for volunteer opportunities (you'll get free food!) and other special updates!
