Officer Descriptions

Learn about who will be leading GCC and what each position entails.

President (E-board)
  • Oversees sponsorships with companies, both locally and antionally.
  • Engage with other GCC chapters in California and other states
  • Work with the main headquarters
  • Be the recognizable face of UCSD's chapter
VP Internal (E-board)
  • Ensure community within GCC
  • Facilitate communication between the executive board and the general members
  • Educate new members and executive team about GCC
  • In charge of transitioning executive positions
VP External (E-board)
  • Contact other GCC chapters
  • Work with other pre-professional clubs on campus as well as cultural onesoones
  • Develop business contacts by talking with companies in order to create opportunities for members professionally.
  • Also stay in contact with speakers and mentors of the chapterAdmin
Directors

Administration (E-board)
  • Head director, delegating and overseeing over all the other directors
  • Act as the liasion between the chapter and student services
  • In charge of minutes and organization of the chapter

Marketing and Networking
  • Make GCC known to the campus
  • Recruitment and marketing of all events
  • Creative media responsibilities such as designing flyers, postcards
  • Responsible for using social media such as Facebook, website, and campus resources
China Affairs
  • Work with people from China to faciliate conferences, contacts, and building a network
  • Update students with China's current events
  • International liasion for UCSD's chapter
Initiatives
  • Ensure events and meetings go smoothly
  • In charge of all events and projects that the chapter hosts
  • Assist the Director of Administration
